Our Forthcoming Trip To Patagonia

Our Forthcoming Trip To Patagonia

At the end of October 2025 my wife and I head back to the town of El Chalten in Patagonia. Its a place we have visited on six previous occasions. This time however we shall not be venturing onto the vast expanse of the southern Patagonian icecap. Instead, we shall be enjoying the delights of the town of El Chalten and reporting back about the hiking, backpacking, stunning landscapes and amazing wildlife in the vicinity.

Its a long journey there from our home in southern Spain. We leave the city of Granada early on 30th October and head via Madrid and Buenos Aires then south to El Calafate and onward to El Chalten. We arrive there late on the 31st October.

We are there for over a month and don't arrive back home until the 6th December. For us it's a trip to remember past adventures and experience new ones. We shall bring you the insights, thoughts, notes, images & videos from our trip, which we hope you will enjoy and maybe even inspire you to venture there yourself one day.

Here's a few images from our expedition of 2014 as an inspiration to check back here when our trip begins.
