Avalanche in the Sierra Nevada
There has been an avalanche at the Sierra Nevada ski resort, 3 were trapped but all were rescued. There is a video showing the dogs at work, people probing the snow for the skiers and them being dug out. Click this link to see the video
Skijoring with Khumbu
Well the training has begun again on teaching Khumbu the art of Skijoring in the Sierra Nevada! Our attempts last winter were not good, he was too young. This winter however it turns out he is a natural so far on the flat snow.

Emma and I took the dogs for a day out in the snow in the Sierra Nevada last week. We all had a great time, photos and video attached to prove it.
