Had a good day yesterday walking in the desert of Tabernas near Almeria. 2 clients of Spanish Highs wanted to take photos of the fantastic scenery in the desert. We were out for 6 hours in the hot hot weather. Below are a few pictures that were taken.

Day 1
Leaving Lanjaron just after midday we drove to the ranger station above Capileira. 2 weeks ago we had a good day in the mountains with a client of Spanish Highs. We went up Los Machos 3329m and then did so called “scary Ridge” and onto the Elorietta Hut which used to be a hospital where TB suffers were sent to recover in the clean air and also there [...]

Khumbu and Bruno have added another summit of the 3000m peaks here in the Sierra Nevada to their list. Cerro de Caballo stands at 3009m high above Lanjaron, the lowest of the peaks. It was rather warm for us all but a great day enjoyed in the mountains. They now have 3 ticked off, Mulhacen [...]

Found this butterfly whilst out with clients of Spanish Highs walking in the Poqueira Gorge on Sunday, turns out its either a Silver Studded Blue or an Idas Blue!!
