We had this idea to take a photo of Lanjaron with the peak of Cerro de Caballo behind when it had snow on it, of course its been a long time coming, with the late rain and then the never ending rain. We knew this dry sunny day was coming, all the forecasts said so, we just hoped it would, and it has, so we have been out and about today. Armed with the pickup, the dogs and cameras we drove over near Pinos del Valle which was the area we had located to take the photo from. A great place for photography and birdwatching when conditions are right. We were lucky enough to have a Golden Eagle come join us for 5 minutes or so, just soaring over head, fantastic.
The dogs loved the walk, somewhere different after the recent rains. We shall be going back for some more shots when the snow gets lower and the sky becomes a nice dark blue. So below are the pick of the bunch with a link to the photo album where you can see the best of the rest. I hope you enjoy.
