This week some good friends of mine Rosi and Mike have been out for a holiday with their two young daughters Sarah and Rachel, unfortunately the weather has not been too kind to them but we did manage to get a day in the snow on Thursday. We went up to the Sierra Nevada and parked at the Hoya de Mora were the girls went sledging and built a snowman whilst Emma and I took Khumbu and Bruno for a walk in the snow towards Veleta and the back down a ski run. Khumbu as expected got very excited and dragged me most of the way down the ski run!! Yesterday (Friday) it rained all day none stop we had 56mm of rain. That has been the most rain I have seen in one day since I have been here so as you can imagine we now have lots more snow, check out this link to see the latest live pictures from the Sierra Nevada and see what else is in store for us weather wise. Ive also attached a short video of the dogs playing in the snow.
