2 weeks ago I heard our neighbours dogs barking more than normal and so went to investigate and found Missy had had her foal just a short while before I got there. She surprised us all as she had not produced any milk and had no real tell tale signs that she was ready. The vet had to be called the next day as she still didnt have the milk so he gave her an injection to help produce milk. Now the poor girl dosnt get a rest as Murphy has learnt that the milk bar flows nicely now.
