Whopeee we had a big storm last night and the first rains fell since 11th May. I know its not much news to you guys in the UK as its rained all year so far but for us its very exciting (never thought id hear myself say that about rain). It is supposed to rain today and tomorrow so our plants will get plenty of deep water.
Jorge and Emma (Richards daughter and her boyfriend) have been working on our roof for the past week making it waterproof again, they finished yesterday which is great as we could lie in bed listening to the storm and not worry about where we needed to be putting buckets. We just have to choose the tiles we want on the roof then its all done.
