Today I decided to dig up the carrots and see what was happening to them!
Wish I hadnt bothered. I think it all went wrong when I didnt thin them out as seedlings which has produced strange shaped carrots. Lots of stones in soil didnt help, even the ants had moved into them!
This is the best of the bunch which we will be eating over the next couple of days. Im told tonight we are having “honey glazed baby carrots” mmmm look forward to it.
